Week 35: Hurricane Harvey Relief
Watching the impact of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, I began researching ways that our community could help. So, this week, GIVE52 is taking action to aid in the relief efforts.
It is my understanding that in the wake of disaster and in an emergency, some needs fall through the cracks. Diapers are one of these needs apparently not being provided by disaster relief agencies. This is where we can make a dent and help.
This week’s GIVE52 organization is The Texas Diaper Bank. Disaster relief kits with donation supplies and diapers will go to those affected by natural disasters in Texas.
If you or someone you know is in the area, they can drop off items at their location on 5415 Bandera Road, Suite 504, San Antonio, TX 78238.
